Introduction to beautiful Kingston

Located where Lake Ontario meets the St. Lawrence River and the Rideau Canal, Kingston, Ontario is a historic and vibrant city known for its rich heritage, scenic waterfront, and dynamic cultural life. Established in the 17th century as a French trading post called Fort Frontenac, Kingston later became one of the earliest English settlements in Upper Canada and even served briefly as the capital of the Province of Canada in 1841. Today, the city seamlessly blends its historic character with modern innovation. Maawanijitaadaa, Come Together

Home to renowned institutions such as Queen’s University, the Royal Military College of Canada, and St. Lawrence College, Kingston has a strong reputation as an educational and research hub. The city’s limestone architecture, often earning it the nickname “The Limestone City,” reflects its deep historical roots, while its lively downtown, festivals, and waterfront parks make it an attractive place to live and visit.
